Crafco High Friction Surface is a unique epoxy overlay system designed for application on asphalt and concrete pavement, as well as wood and metal surfaces. Combining a highly modified epoxy adhesive with a range of specifically selected surface aggregates, the system forms a highly durable, wear resistant, high friction colored surface that is flexible and impact resistant. HFS is resistant to oil and fuel spills, as well as to deicing chemicals and salts.

The HFS system retains its integrity under heavy braking or wheel loading; it will not become embedded or displaced. Braking distances are reduced by as much as 33%, while the visual guidance provided to drivers, cyclists and pedestrians is significantly enhanced.
